Software module for processing utility payments
The module was developed for a Ukrainian bank, allowing its tellers to process utility payments.
Main functions:
- Integration with regional database of utility payments
- Search for payers by address and/or by Payment Clearinghouse number
- Viewing of payer information (rates, discounts, amounts owed, payment history, etc.)
- Generation of completed receipts for utility payments
- Receipt export in PDF format
- Printout of Payment Clearinghouse numbers as a bar code
- Google Maps integration (display of bank branches and utility offices on a map)
- Support for connection to systems of partner banks
- User profile
Technologies used: Rails 3.0, Ruby 1.9.2, WEBrick, MS SQL 2008.
